Personalised Learning

At St Catherine of Siena Primary School we endeavour to engage our students in more purposeful and authentic learning that takes into account their needs and interests.

At St. Catherine of Siena we believe that learning is a lifelong process. It is both developmental and individual. We also believe that our students need to learn to:

  • Follow Jesus’ values and beliefs as a guide for their lives
  • Operate with a social conscience in a community
  • Be critical and analytical
  • Be global, lateral thinkers and problem solvers
  • Be reliable, independent and co-operative
  • Take responsibility for their learning
  • Be literate and numerate
  • Be able to utilize technologies to enhance learning
  • Have a sense of a positive self worth
  • Respect the environment
